Hacking the vote!

The CITP has just disclosed they were also able to exploit a vulnerability in a new Internet voting system. The web based application was intended to be used by the U.S government to provide overseas military personnel the means to easily participate in the voting process.

The CITP provide much more useful information than previous reports detailing another similar attack performed by University of Michigan students on a live demonstration of the voting platform.

The full report can be found on the freedom-to-tinker blog.
